My Husband Is Going To Kill Me is a well-written, well-paced novel of domestic suspense. The story is a cautionary tale about forming emotional attachments to online strangers to compensate for real-life relationship struggles. Protagonist Monica Decker turns to the internet for companionship when her workaholic husband begins to melt down from job stress. She has legitimate fears of his aggression but chooses to allay those fears by entering an emotional online affair as a distraction. This reviewer wanted to talk sense into her, but of course that wasn’t an option. I could only keep reading and hope she snapped out of her fantasy world to work on her marital issues. There are twists and turns in this book that kept the story moving forward in ways that were unexpected but made sense. This novel is an enjoyable read.
